In this article you will find out what your daily limit depends on, how can you increase this limit and with what logic does it renewing day by day. 🙌
Two key factors affect on your daily limit:
- 1️⃣ Type of your Gmail account
- 2️⃣ Plan in the LeadCooker app
👉 1️⃣ Gmail limit on daily sending emails:
Gmail analyze the performance of all activities which determines your Gmail sending limit. It considers many factors in the beginning:
- If the account has sent bulk emails previously
- The bounce rate of the overall account
- How many email communications was in the account
- Was there any spammy content in bulk emails
- Age of Gmail account
Be aware, that Gmail has internal limits on sending emails. These limits are different for default @gmail.com account and commercial version - G Suite account. The daily limits are:
- up to 500 emails every day for free Gmail accounts (firstname.lastname@example.org)
- up to 2000 (500 for trial accounts) emails every day for commercial version G Suite accounts (your_name@your_domain.name)
It doesn't mean actually that you should reach this limits all the time because once you reach it Google will lockdown your access to the account up to 24 hours.
What also counts towards a user's Gmail daily limits:
- Mail sent from a user's alternate address, or alias
- Mail an assistant sends on your behalf (if you delegate mail to an assistant)
- Mail sent from Gmail’s vacation responder
G Suite administrators can check the Users section of the Google Admin console to find details on which limits were reached. In some cases, an administrator can take action to restore access. For instructions, see Restore a suspended Gmail account.
Accounts that are detected as sending spam might be permanently restricted from sending email. See Google's Spam and abuse policy.
🚀 Increase your limits by ending your free trial 🚀
Some limits are specific to trial accounts. At the end of your free trial period, those limits will be automatically increased when your domain is cumulatively billed for at least USD 30 (or the same amount in your currency). If you purchased your domain from Google, the amount required to increase your sending limits is USD 30 plus the cost of your domain.
If you want to increase your limits sooner, you can end your free trial and pay the amount now. For instructions, see Make a manual payment. It can take up to 48 hours to upgrade the limits after you submit the payment.
Important: While you're still in your trial period, your sending limits will not be increased.
You should also be aware that you have single daily limit for all connected clients to your email account. That's why we recommend to use separate account that will be used by the Leadcooker app only.
👉 2️⃣ Leadcooker limit on daily sending emails:
For now we have only two basic limits for our users:
- 200 emails daily for users on the Trial plan
- 1000 emails daily for users on the Starter plan
For Starter plan users we set limit 200 emails daily for free Gmail accounts (email@example.com) and limit 1000 emails daily for G Suite Accounts.
We strongly recommend to upgrade your account to the G Suite type before subscription to Starter plan. Once you subscribe to the commercial plan in Leadcooker app, you can't link your account to another email account at this time.
How do limits renewing day-by-day?
The Leadcooker daily sending limits as also and Gmail limit based on how many messages you send in a 24 hour period. It is unrelated to time-zones or time-of-day. When you trigger the block, it will take up to 24 hours for it to reset. But if you immediately send a bunch more messages you can re-trigger it if the count for the last 24 hours exceeds the limits. In other words, it means that every sent email hold one quota of your daily limit for 24-hours. For example if you have the limit of 1000 emails per day, and you sent 100 emails at 9 a.m., then 150 emails at 10 a.m., then 200 emails at 1 p.m., the next day in 8.50 a.m. you will able to send 550 emails, in 9.50 a.m. - 650 emails, in 12.50 p.m. - 800 emails, and so far.
⚡️ Important: If you use your email account somewhere else, you should know that you reduce your Gmail daily quota so you can hit Gmail daily limit, which can initiate account suspension for 24 hours. It means that you won't be able to send any emails for 24 hours. ☝️
